The ring road of Poznań in the course of the motorway A2, it is the part about 13,3 km of length, which is situated in the southern part of agglomeration of Poznań. The building of the ring road was funded by government funds (85 mln euro), grant Phare (45 mln euro) and credit from European Investment Bank (130 mln euro). The General Management of National Roads and Motorways was a investor of the project. The British firm Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick which co-operated with Polish partner JPP Consult, engaged in realization of the contracts. The firms Fougerolle International / Mostostal Warszawa J.V. Sp. z o.o., Hermann Kirchner / Mosty Łódź J.V. Sp. z o.o. were the performers of the ring road in Poznań.
